This park has the longest hiking trail in Nassau county, as well as a 4.6 mile biking trail. There are plenty or streams & lakes, and fresh water fishing is permitted. If you want to walk/run/jog, this place is a beautiful change of scenery.

Valley Stream State Park

For a unique workout experience try out the exercise trail at Valley Stream State Park. Alongside the running path there are exercise stations with equipment designed to test your cardiovascular and stretching abilities. Bring your friends and make it a competition; its a fun way to change-up the usual workout routine.

Baldwin Park

You can keep yourself entertained all day at Baldwin Park. With tons of activities to choose from including tennis courts, basketball courts, handball courts, shuffle board, a hockey rink, soccer and baseball fields, and a skate park! There is also a play ground, pavilion area, picnic tables , open fields and walking trails.
